How to Sign Up to Perform

Every event page has a "Sign Up to Perform" button, shown as long as the event hasn't been cancelled or already concluded and you haven't already signed up. If you're signed in, clicking it walks you through picking one of your Acts (or creating a new one on the spot) and filling out a short form for that performance.

The signup form

Most of the performer form is pre-filled from your Act's existing details, but you can adjust it per event: a stage name, a description, a photo specific to this show, music or media links, and — if you play with a band — which band members are actually performing at this particular event. If the event accepts jam requests, there's also a toggle to let other musicians request to sit in with you.

Editing or cancelling your signup

Once you're signed up, your performer card on the event page includes an "Edit My Signup" option so you can update your details, and a "Remove Me" option if your plans change. Both are only available to you (or the act's other band members) and to the event's host.

Two ways events fill their lineup

Depending on how the host set up the event, your position in the lineup is decided either by community votes leading up to the show, or simply by the order people signed up in. See Vote Ranking vs. First-Come, First-Served Signups in this help section for the difference.
